Mebbe they got to worrying that the USA might step in and annex them if they didn't side up with Russia. That would certainly explain the explosion in the numbers going with Russia.

Perhaps they feared the Yankee Empire more than the Russian Federation. Since Crimea is supposedly 60% Russian it was no doubt a factor. In the Yankee Empire a 60% white majority of ANY national origin is of course racist and should therefore be banned according to the minority. Subjugation of a white majority in the Yankee Empire is business as usual. Otherwise whites aren't being self-loathing enough or "tolerant" enough. Maybe the Russians in Crimea are wise to fear the Yankee Empire more than the Russian Empire. Meanwhile O'Bongo and others insist that they will not recognize the Crimean secession while they cheered on the Muslim extremists in Egypt, Libya, Syria et al to overthrow their existing governments. These same hypocrites are basically saying then that thirteen original colonies and the government they formed by secession from the British has never been a valid government ab initio.

Self-determination: Now that sounds like it could get contagious doesn't it. If the Bloody YANKEE EMPIRE and Neocons don't like it, let's do it! Hell yeah!!!!!!!

I heard on Fox News Radio this evening that OBummer is ticked off because he felt like the rest of the Ukraine should have a say so in whether the Crimea left. Which would be more of a crock of horse$#!t than what my fiancé's horses leave in the barn because of course Kiev isn't gonna want Crimea to leave. It's the biggest economical success in the whole damn country.

Sounds familiar...

P.S.: Crimeans, join Russia at your peril. You would be better served to be your own nation.
